King disapointed
Parliament has been dissolved, but the Yang di-Pertuan Agong has indicated that he was constitutionally forced to consent to the dissolution request.
The Palace said in a statement that the monarch had relayed his "disappointment" in the current political developments.
It is unclear what exactly the King is disappointed with, but His Majesty does hope that the next general election would be held before the monsoon batters the country.

PM burns bridges
Caretaker Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob has burned his bridges with PN, blaming the coalition for the dissolution of Parliament.
He said their letter urging the king to reject the dissolution of Parliament had undermined his authority and created disharmony in Putrajaya.
However, just a few days ago, Ismail Sabri said the letter by 13 PN ministers did not have any effect on the government's legitimacy.

Penang wavers
When GE15 takes place, it is expected that only BN-led Pahang, Perlis, and Perak will have state-level elections.
This is because Pakatan Harapan and PAS have decided that elections in states under their control would only take place next year.
However, Penang DAP is worried that delaying the state polls would cause voters to turn against Harapan.
The Harapan presidential council will decide today whether Penang should have early polls as well.
