PM's ‘favours’ targeted
Bersatu activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin has been zooming in on alleged favours Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has received from business associates.
He lodged an MACC report last week calling for a probe of Anwar’s residing in a home and using luxury cars owned by businesspeople.
Anwar’s lawyer clarified that Anwar had a 10-year lease on the Kajang house - which is being used as a personal residence.
Meanwhile, an aide denied that a Jaguar - that Anwar used from 2020 up until he became prime minister - was serviced using funds from a foundation the premier established to help the poor.
The aide also lodged a police report against Badrul and others over the allegations against the premier.

Sanusi vs Saifuddin
Tensions are high between Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and Kedah caretaker menteri besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.
Saifuddin is alleging that Sanusi was fined RM500,000 over rare earth theft in Sik, Kedah.
Sanusi denied this, saying the fine was issued to a third party. He also plans to sue Saifuddin.
Meanwhile, Sanusi is also blaming the government for his TikTok account being wiped clean.
Saifuddin denied the government was behind such a move.

PSM-Muda team up
PSM and Muda are teaming up for the state polls.
Both parties had electoral pacts with Pakatan Harapan parties in the past, but are now going against them - and PN - as a third force.
Muda and PSM’s campaign will focus on a shared vision to actively combat racial politics and address pressing environmental challenges while championing the rights of marginalised communities.
In addition, the parties will advocate for balanced and inclusive national development while promoting genuine democracy.
