No cabinet reshuffle soon
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has ruled out the likelihood of a cabinet reshuffle based on the outcome of the ongoing PKR election.
He said his ministers are being evaluated based on their job performance, and not political considerations.
The remarks came as one minister and two deputy ministers were ousted in division-level polls.

Hadi on Jakim's radar
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has fallen under Jakim's radar after he claimed that voting is more important than performing the haj.
This is despite the first Tabung Haji flight for the haj this year only being scheduled three days after the Ayer Kuning by-election.
PAS Youth chief Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden, however, claimed that critics are trying to distract from the issue of alleged illegal pig farms in Perak.

Mandarin, Tamil in schools
Calls for Mandarin and Tamil to be taught in national schools are finally being answered.
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said the two vernacular languages may soon be offered as elective languages, alongside Thai, Khmer and Vietnamaese.
The latter three are part of efforts to foster better cohesion in Asean.
Meanwhile, parents whose kids go to school in areas that may be affected by the Asean summit next month need not get stuck in prolonged traffic as occurred when Xi Jinping was in town.
They may, however, have to request to work from home or take leave as affected schools may switch to home-based learning temporarily.
