PM summons MBs to talk about Iran
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will meet with the top leadership of each state government, as well as political party leaders, for a special briefing this week.
The briefing by the National Security Council and the National Economic Action Council is about joint measures to guarantee economic sustainability and national security following the uncertain situation in West Asia.
Meanwhile, seven tankers owned by Malaysian companies, including Petronas and Sapura Kenchana, are awaiting clearance to safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan.

Heatwave hits Peninsular Malaysia
A heatwave is hitting parts of the peninsula, exacerbated by a lack of rain.
In Kedah, 206 schools were told to switch to learning from home after temperatures in Kota Setar and Pendang soared above 37 °C over the weekend.
Meanwhile, in Malacca, water levels in dams have dropped by up to 30 percent due to the hot weather. However, supply is still sufficient until April.
