A molotov cocktail explodes in front of the Federal Reserve Unit during a security exercise for SEA Games at KLCC on Monday, 10 July 2017.
Some 400 personnel took part in the exercise codenamed Ex Rimau, including the Special Action Unit, VAT69, the Bomb Disposal Unit, the General Operations Force, the Criminal Investigations Department and general duty officers.
Two scenarios were tested - defusing a bomb found at the park and quelling threats from armed terrorists.
A series of Ex Rimau exercises will be held until July 31, ahead of the Games in Kuala Lumpur starting Aug 19.
