A Base jumper descends from the Sky Deck of the KL Tower during the internationally-acclaimed KL Tower International Jump event.
The first KL Tower International Jump in 1999 was listed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the first such event in the country, and has been held annually since.
Over 140 jumpers from 20 countries participated in this year's edition, which was held from Sept 28 to Oct 1.
'Base' refers to the four categories of fixed structures or objects from which jumpers can parachute, namely buildings, antenna, spans and earth (cliffs).
