KINILENS | Mixed emotions are on display today as students who had sat for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination last year collect their result slips.

Here, former students of SMK Selayang Baru and SMK Darul Ehsan are seen celebrating with parents and friends while others are seen waiting apprehensively.

SPM 2019 results are released nationwide from 10am today. Up to 416,416 candidates sat for the examination for Form 5 national school pupils.

According to the Education Ministry, 2019's results show a better performance with a National Average Grade (GPN) of 4.86 compared to 4.89 recorded in 2018.
