KINILENS | RC Tank Biathlon Malaysia is an annual event in Shah Alam organised by the RC Tank Legion Shop, supported by a fan club established in the entire country and also in Singapore.

RC stands for radio or remote control, while the tanks are sized at the 1/16 scale, which is 16 times smaller than the size of the actual vehicles.

On the miniature battlefield, the tanks can battle with each other with infrared LEDs attached on top for the miniatures to shoot and receive shots, similar to the “laser tag” game.

The tanks are based on actual military vehicles, from World War 2 to modern battle tanks.

RC Tanks as a hobby is a combination between remote-control miniatures and scale modelling, where scale-model tanks come to life with the wonders of electronics, sound, and lights.
