Indonesian police suspect Malaysian-born extremist Noordin Mohammed Top may be behind today's deadly twin bombings as they sift through bomb-making material found in a hotel room "control centre".

Two bombs tore through a restaurant and car park in the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott hotels around 8am (9am Malaysian time) as guests were having breakfast, killing at least nine people and wounding more than 40 others.
