As the MCA polls enter the final lap, attacks against party personalities are reaching new heights and have now even found its way to Parliament.

Yesterday, envelopes containing a police report on Dr Chua Soi Lek's sex DVD scandal were placed on the windshield of vehicles belonging to MPs.

police report against chua soi lek found in parliament 260310 envelop The white envelopes had the words "To YB (To the honourable MP)" scribbled in front, with the word "IMPORTANT" stamped in red on the upper right corner.

One of the MPs who received the envelope was Serdang MP Teo Nie Ching, who uploaded pictures of the envelope and police report on her Facebook page.

Contacted today, Teo said she was unhappy that MCA's party affairs were being brought to the august House.

"I think this was done by Chua's opponents, but they should not involve Parliament. This is disrespectful," she said.

Complainant denies involvement

Teo said she called the complainant on the police report, Bayan Baru PKR Youth chief Ahmad Azrizal Tahir, who denied placing the envelopes in Parliament as he was in Penang at the time.

NONE According to Ahmad Azrizal's police report, he said he was lodging the report after receiving a copy of the DVD in his mailbox.

In a letter to the press, Ahmad Azrizal ( right ) also questioned the government for failing to take action against Chua who was portrayed as engaging in unnatural sex in the DVD.

Ahmad wrote that it was the government was practising double standards as PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim was undergoing trial for alleged sodomy.

Efforts by Malaysiakini to contact Ahmad for comments have been unsuccessful.

Chua is involved in a three-corner fight for the MCA presidency along with incumbent Ong Tee Keat and challenger Ong Ka Ting. 

Voting will take place on Sunday.
