  • An incinerator project mentioned in the Kuala Lumpur Draft Structure Plan (KLSP) 2020 is causing distress to the Puchong No-Incinerator pro-tem committee which wants it to be taken out.

    The committee is puzzled why the project is included in the draft released o­n March 10 when the government had already said last Nov 13 that it would relocate the controversial project that was initially slated for the area.

    Page 11-7 of the plan mentions City Hall's plan to build a massive 1,500 tonne incinerator - considered the world's biggest of its kind - in Kampung Bohol, Puchong, to solve the problem of solid waste disposal.
