Kapar MP S Manikavasagam had lodged a police report this morning on having found a copy of the infamous sex video in his mailbox yesterday.

The popular PKR grassroots leader said that he found a nondescript CD in an envelope addressed to him in his office mailbox in Kapar, Klang at noon yesterday.

And when he played the CD, he was shocked to find that it was the video footage of a man resembling his boss and party de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim having sex with a woman.

Kapar MP S Manikavasagam sex tape report porn cd Lodging the report at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters, Manikavasagam ( left) - popularly known as ‘Mike' - also revealed that the envelope carried Thai stamps as well as the country's postmark.

The postmark read "Prasan Mit" with the date -- April 25. The Prasan Mit post office is situated in the heart of Bangkok.

Having watched the video three times together with his special assistant, including once this morning, he said that the uncensored video was 22 minutes long.

The MP also said that the entire footage had a white strip across with the words in Thai, "Phaholyothin Road, Bangkok, Thailand 10400, Copyright 2011".

"I have seen the video, and I can confirm that it's not Anwar," said Manikavasagam, adding that the physical traits between the politician and the man in the video are different.

He also said that he is perplexed at having received the CD when businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah - the man responsible for the video - claimed that he had surrendered his copy to the police, which he had said was the original and only one in his possession.

Meanwhile, PKR vice-president N Surendran, who accompanied Manikavasagam to the police station, described the video as the BN's opening shot in the run-up to the general elections.

He said he is disappointed that the Datuk T trio, who were responsible for screening the video, appeared to be "above the law".

After filing the police report, Manikavasagam told journalists that his case has been transferred to the Kapar police where he will surrender the CD to the investigating officer.

On why he had not lodged the report there in the first place, he quipped: "I don't like the Kapar police. They're always finding ways to arrest me."

The sex video caper began on March 21 when Shazryl screened it for journalists in Kuala Lumpur's hotel Carcosa Seri Negara.

NONE He later revealed that former Malacca chief minister Rahim Thamby Chik and former Perkasa treasurer Shuib Lazim were working with him.

Shazryl has claimed that the video was shot on Feb 21 in a Kuala Lumpur  spa and that the woman was a sex worker.

However, snippets of the sex video were slowly released in parts on the Internet, with the first portion on April 4 and the last four clips on Thursday - three days after the CD was mailed to Manikavasagam.
