Two large stones were thrown at DAP's Perak headquarters in Ipoh today, shattering some of its glass windows, the party's Canning assemblyperson Wong Kah Woh said.
He believes the stones where thrown at the first floor office during lunch break, as the staff found the stones and shattered windows when they returned from lunch about 1.30pm.
A police report has been lodged at the Ipoh police district headquarters, he added.
"We are still trying to check our CCTV footage and our neighbours' footage to try and see if we can get something out of these to hand over to the police," Wong told Malaysiakini when contacted.
He does not suspect anybody or any group, but believes the vandal to be "somebody strong" because the stones went through the glass windows and landed about three metres inside.
The Ipoh headquarters had been attacked with petrol bombs in 2008. However, in that incident, the bombs fells harmlessly onto the street after bouncing off plywood partitions at the building.
