Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim is unlikely to contest for any seat in Perak in the coming general election.

A senior state PKR leader said although Anwar himself had announced that he was thinking of contesting for a seat in Perak or Selangor instead of defending his current Permatang Pauh seat, the chances of him choosing Perak was extremely slim.
