Ridhuan Tee: No Khalid, S'gor will be 'Darul Babi'
Ferdtan: It looks like Sinar Harian columnist and National Defence University lecturer Ridhuan Tee Abdullah wants to change the name of Selangor Darul Ehsan to 'Selangor Darul Babi'.
If he is not charged with disrespect to the sultan then it means that the authorities have no objection.
In future, when I post a letter I may address my state as 'Selangor Darul Babi' in honour of the man who ‘coined’ the words.
Imagine, over time when frequently used by all, including Muslims, then the word ’babi’ will no longer become taboo. Ridhuan, what a genius?
Doc: “Selangor Darul Babi.” It sounds seditious to me. Then again "sedition" only applies to the common people (for example, Form 5 students ) and opposition politicians.
Ridhuan Tee, Isma, Perkasa and Jati are pro-Umno goons, thus it is just impossible for them to have any seditious intention.

Vijay47: Just what is wrong with everybody? Earlier we had porcine DNA in Cadbury chocolates (what happened to that case?) and now we have Ridhuan Tee suggesting that Selangor be renamed ‘Selangor Darul Babi’, hardly an appropriate welcome when His Highness returns from Budapest.

The Malaysian: The police should charge Ridhuan for insulting my home state Selangor and twisting our beautiful state name Selangor Darul Ehsan to Selangor Darul Babi.
HRH the Sultan of Selangor is surely hurt by this remark as HRH is an educated man who does not stand for such lowly nonsense.

Matteropong: Ridhuan Tee is supposed to be an academician specialising in ‘Malaysian Studies and Race Relations’ but his mouth and mind does not seem to correlate.
The educational institution which employs him will lose out morally and economically in students’ academic engagement and it is bad for nation building.

Secondly, as a Muslim I am very irritated with you implying that all Muslims think like you.
What is wrong with having a integrated pig farm? It’s cleaner than private pig farms in which you don’t know where they are disposing off the pigs faeces.
Are these farmers asking you to eat pork? Please mind your own business.
Thirdly, is it Islamic to insult other races, their religion and their practices? Please quote to me the verse in the Quran which states that, otherwise, you are a ‘munafik’.
Fourthly, if there is famine and nothing left to eat except pig meat, than we Muslims are expected to eat the meat because by not opting to eat it, it would mean that we would rather commit suicide than strive to stay alive, which is a bigger sin.
Any ulama like to correct me here?

YF: How is it that Ridhuan Tee can insult the Sultan of Selangor by calling his kingdom a derogatory and insulting word?
This is ‘derhaka’ of the highest order and what’s more no Umno leaders are taking any action against Ridhuan Tee.
Cantabrigian: When I first read the title of this new article, two words/phrases captured my attention: ‘Ridhuan Tee’ and ‘babi’.
I then thought the comments from Malaysiakini readers for this article would be heavily relying on the second word. I was correct.
Anonymous #06188481: Everything in this world is created by Allah. And all that God created is good. How can God create bad things?
God is perfect and by Himself does not make mistakes. ‘Babi’ (pig) is created by God and God's creation is good. ‘Anjing’ (dog) is created by God and God's creation is good.
Even Ridhuan Tee Chuan Seng is created by God and supposed to be good, but because he has a choice like any human being, he chooses to be bad.
