Perak PAS denied today it has been bullied by its Pakatan Rakyat partner, the DAP, since 2008.

Although Umno-BN has been highlighting that PAS is just a puppet, this is just mere perception, its information chief Mohd Misbahul Munir Masduki said.

"Although Pakatan's rule in Perak lasted only 10 months, the state PAS was given the post of two executive council members, including the post of menteri besar.

"All decisions were made within the spirit of the meeting by Pakatan Rakyat Perak leaders," Misbahul (right) said in a statement.

He was responding to PAS central committee member Nik Abduh Nik Aziz, who labelled its partners PKR and DAP as bullies , claiming that they were mistreating the Islamist party.

 

"Today, aside from Umno, PKR and DAP have started to bully PAS.

"PAS is seen to be struggling, not knowing who to hold on to as neither would do," Nik Abduh said in his blog recently.

Until today, Misbahul added, he has been entrusted with the job of secretary of the Perak Pakatan leadership council.

"Perak Pakatan is the best example of the unity within the coalition. There are certainly differences of opinion, but this does not come by criticising one another in the media. The differences are ironed out through meetings held," he said.

"Hence, there was no reason for PAS to feel alienated or bullied."
