KINIBIZ Online news portal KiniBiz extended its presence into the print domain today with the publication of a high-quality fortnightly business magazine to complement the portal’s daily dose of business news, analysis and views.

The KiniBiz magazine is available from today at major newsstands around the country at a special promotional price of RM10 a copy for the first six issues. Existing subscribers will get a free copy of the magazine delivered right to their doorstep for the duration of their subscription.

Also for a limited time, KiniBiz has a special promotional offer of RM318 a year for both print and online issues, including any goods and services tax (GST) charges. This compares to the current rack rate of RM318 a year each, for online and print.

Along with the introduction of the magazine, KiniBiz Online now has a new look and feel with a new, cleaner logo that reflects the appearance of the magazine as well.

The new KiniBiz magazine differentiates itself by giving greater depth, analysis and commentary than any other business publication in the country.

It gives in an attractive easy-to-read format, articles of enduring interest offering insights to things business, mostly in Malaysia, but occasionally the big picture scene overseas as well.

New dimension, different challenges

KiniBiz joint CEO and founding editor P Gunasegaram said that the introduction of the print version introduces a new dimension and a different set of challenges to the organisation, but it will continue to uphold journalistic tenets of independent and fair reporting, informed analysis and incisive, honest but fair commentary.

“We believe there is marketplace for such a quality magazine that will give readers the kind of information they want, while at the same time offering advertisers avenues to reach their target market,” Gunasegaram ( right ) said.

KiniBiz Online was set up in February 2013 and shortly after achieved unique visitors of more than 100,000 a month. As announced at the time of setting up, it went subscription in May of the same year.

Currently, KiniBiz is has more than 150,000 unique visitors a month and unique pageviews number in excess of 370,000.
