Deputy Home Minister Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar today confirmed police are probing claims made by former commando Sirul Azhar Umar regarding the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder.

Speaking to reporters at Parliament's lobby, Wan Junaidi also said that police had met the fugitive Sirul at the Australian immigration detention centre in Sydney where he is being held.
