Scholar: Follow Indonesia, criminalise marital rape

A religious scholar from Indonesia has urged the Malaysian authorities to follow Jakarta’s lead of legislating a new law which effectively criminalises marital rape. The Indonesian Parliament passed the new legislation on Sept 15.
