On Sunday, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak is slated to officiate Johor's Pasir Gudang Umno division annual meet.

Today, Umno Youth assistant secretary Noor Azleen Ambrois said division members should not be afraid to raise their concerns with him.

He said members must use this platform to highlight issues faced by the Umno leadership now.

"Party members are the pulse of the party. Hence, it is the responsibility of all delegates to voice the feelings and demands on the ground.

"This is to ensure the issues raised could be discussed among delegates in a family atmosphere," he said in a statement.

Pasir Gudang is the division where Johor Menteri Besar Mohamed Khaled Nordin is from.

Noor Azleen ( photo ) assured that delegates need not be concerned about voicing their stand especially since Umno is facing a test.

"I assure the delegates there will no restrictions or barriers for them to voice out or to state their stand on issues plaguing the grassroots.

"They have the right to air their views on the issues as I know they love Umno and its struggles," he added.

Earlier, Khaled in a speech which raised eyebrows, said Umno must not remain silent in the face of corruption or betrayal of trust.

Since Najib removed Muhyiddin Yassin who hails from Johor as deputy prime minister last week, signs of dissatisfaction have emerged in the state Umno.
