After more than two years and no sign of further development following her husband's disappearance in an alleged police-linked abduction near a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, a housewife who was forced to return to work as a nurse overseas is hoping for closure on the matter.

V Satiavani, 50, said she believes there is a cover-up in her businessman husband K Gobala Guru's disappearance as former senior police chiefs like Kuala Lumpur CID chief Ku Chin Wah, former Bukit Aman CID director Hadi Ho Abdullah and the current police officers are remaining mum on the progress of their investigations.
