After 10 hours, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has today finished recording statement from Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng over the purchase of a bungalow at Jalan Pinhorn for RM2.8 million bungalow, allegedly below market price.

MACC in a statement today said Lim arrived at the MACC office in George Town at 10am and it has finished recording his statement at 8pm to complete its probe.

Yesterday, the MACC recorded Lim's statement for 10 hours.

So far, the anti-graft commission has recorded statements from 65 witnesses and would call several more next week.

"We are in the final phase of investigations. We are investigating the case professionally, independently and transparently," it said in the statement.
