Cops dive into storm drain to rescue accident victims
The action of two policemen who dived into a storm drain to rescue victims of an accident in Kepala Batas, Penang, this morning has earned praise.
The Penang Kini Facebook page said the duo from the Seberang Prai Utara district police headquarters put their lives on the line to save a couple whose car crashed into the murky waters in Bertam Indah at around 4.30am.

The husband had fractured his leg and sustained injuries to his spine whereas his wife escaped with minor bruises.
Penang Kini also said the police are considering a promotion or award for the pair, who were identified only as Constable Firdaus and Constable Hairi.
