Former senator Ezam Mohd Nor has urged the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to reopen its probe on 1MDB’s former subsidiary SRC International Sdn Bhd.

Ezam said he lodged the report at MACC Selangor headquarters in Shah Alam this morning, following questions and warnings raised by former second finance minister Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah during his Budget 2017 debate on Monday.

He also said the report was lodged to protect the interests of some 1.6 million contributors to Malaysia’s Retirement Fund Incorporated (KWAP), the country’s civil service pension fund.
