The Malaysian Bar today submitted nine photos of the infamous New Zealand holiday taken by former chief justice Eusoff Chin and senior lawyer VK Lingam to the royal commission tasked to investigate the Lingam tape.

Eusoff was accompanied by his wife Rosaini Mustaffa, daughter Zubaidah, 7, and son Johan, 6, while Lingam was with his wife K Gnanajothy, and daughters, Sivashahki, 11, and Sivajothy, 10.

Also travelling with the two families was Tan Chong Paw, an ex-police sergeant which the agency believes to be business tycoon Vincent Tan's bodyguard.

The eight-day vacation was in December 1994.

Both families went first to Auckland for four days and then took an internal flight to Christchurch - the gateway to New Zealand's South Island. The families stayed there also for four days, which included an excursion to the mountain resort of Queenstown.

The photos depict the two men and their wives and children posing in an number of tourist spots including outside the Kiwi & Birdlife Park and having a fun time on a pleasure boat in Queenstown’s Lake Wakatipu.

One photo show the two men on a fishing expedition.

The rest of the photos - 15 in all - show the original flight tickets that were used for the trip.
