Barisan Nasional leaders continued to pile pressure against Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin and his executive councillors over their failure to adhere to the Sultan of Perak' order to step down.

The latest to join in the chorus was Wanita Umno chief Rafizah Aziz who has called on the authorities in Perak to take action against Mohd Nizar and his executive councillors.

"It is clear that they refused to accept and respect the decision of the sultan who acted in accordance with the state constitution," she said in a statement.

She also said that severe actions must be taken against them for holding an exco meeting yesterday.

She lambasted them for taking executive decisions although they were no longer in power.

She added that such move would only create confusion among the people.
