Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd (Focus Point) has been dedicated to enhancing eye health across Malaysia through the launch of its advanced primary eye care service, 360° Advanced Primary Eye Care (360° APEC). This initiative offers free comprehensive eye checks to the public, providing essential evaluations such as refractive error assessments, diabetic retinopathy screenings, glaucoma checks, cataract evaluations, and dry eye assessments, all conducted by registered optometrists.

Focus Point has successfully conducted public roadshows at major shopping malls across Peninsular Malaysia, including 1 Utama, Sunway Pyramid, Mid Valley Megamall, IOI City Mall, Suria KLCC, AEON Tebrau City, Gurney Plaza, The Mall Mid Valley Southkey, and more. The positive response from the community has highlighted the importance of eye care awareness and preventive measures among the public. This expanded outreach aims to reach even more individuals and foster greater awareness of eye health.

The screening events are designed for all age groups, encouraging participation from adults and the elderly, as well as children aged seven and above. This initiative also serves to educate parents on the importance of monitoring their children’s eyesight, fostering a preventive approach to eye care from a young age.

This year, across eight roadshows, Focus Point has conducted screenings for over 15,000 individuals. The overwhelming response to these events underscores the community’s eagerness to learn about eye health and access professional eye care services.

Looking ahead to 2026, Focus Point will continue to provide free eye check services to the public, with the next scheduled event on 7 January 2026 at Alamanda Shopping Centre, Putrajaya.
