COMMENT | You hear about high school shootings and stabbings in other countries, never here in Malaysia. But the unthinkable happened, and we now see in our local news media headlines such as “16-year-old girl stabbed to death by 14-year-old schoolmate in school”.

In my head, schools are supposed to be a place of bad jokes, noisy friends, some horsing around, scribbles and engravings on desks and. It is not a place where you would expect death. But it happened.
