Alas, the MCA Youth has been frozen by the Central Committee of MCA. What a slap in the face for democracy in Malaysia.

People are hoping that the current crisis can bring about a total revamp of the entire MCA leadership.

Politicians in Malaysia tend to set aside allegations thrown towards them. As this is becoming worse, even views of the opposition in the Parliament are played down to the lowest level.

Public outcry is dismissed for 'the sake of the nation'. How could this be happening in a country which claims to be one of the most democratic nations in the world?

When someone becomes a politician, his daily life tends to come into public focus so that the public can be sure that he or she is the ideal leader to represent them.

How could they be sure if the leader keeps avoiding questions or allegations like a boxer avoiding punches?

Coming back to the MCA issue, if the MCA central committee has the right to freeze their Youth wing for the sake of the 'stability and peace' in the party, then I would suggest that PM, being the chairman of BN, should freeze the entire MCA party since there seems to be a leadership crisis going on and it is creating a split within MCA itself.

But, this could in turn affect the cooperation of the parties within BN.
