Bigoted champions of Islam
It is sad that a small number who claimed to be Muslims have invoked public anger over the the Hindu temple relocation. It was done in a manner that has provoked people of other religions, something Islam does not condone, especially during the holiest month of Ramadan.
The organisers have repeatedly lied on the matter. First, they claimed they had no control over the situation but it is a fact that their leader did not even try to stop them.
Then they lied when they said it was done to draw attention to the "stupidity" of the state government. They know full well that cows are sacred animals to Hindus.

One lie led to another in an attempt to cover up the issue. Thirdly, it is a known fact that many of the protesters were Umno leaders. The pictures taken don't lie but the protesters claimed they were PAS members when they were in fact Umno members.
The reason given for not wanting the temple from being moved to Section 23 is flimsy and there's no mention of such a claim in the Quran.
Second, there are many places in Malaysia especially in Sabah, Sarawak and Penang where mosques, temples and churches are built close to each other.
There has never been an issue. Next, what's wrong with temples built on Muslim majority land? The Quran has never mentioned that it is forbidden to do so.
Looking at it from a non-Muslim perspective, is it justifiable for non-Muslims to protest if we build a mosque in a non-Muslim majority area?
This is not justice in Islam but coming from a few self-proclaimed bigoted 'champions of Islam'.
The protesters should know the sensitivity of using the severed head of a cow and should stop the invoking racial and religious sentiments of non-Muslims.
No wonder, we have so much misunderstanding on Islam by people of other faiths, viewing us as intolerant.
Up till now, no action has been taken to arrest these people who are a threat to national security. These protesters should be arrested under ISA straight away.
Why was this not done?
We see in newspapers that police will swiftly arrest protesters wearing black or at peaceful candlelight vigils. I do not understand why the double standards are being enforced by the police and Home Ministry?
The rakyat is not going to buy this!
Next, we saw the home minister claiming that we cannot blame the protesters for such incident. So, is it all right to protest in a manner that ridicules other religions, then see the home minister who will then give excuses on our behalf for doing so?
This is real nonsense coming from a Home Minister. It seems that the Home Minister is keen on protecting these protesters. Is it because some of them have been identified as Umno members on the pictures taken of the protesters?
At least this is the view of the majority of the rakyat, just in case the Home Minister fails to see it. As a Muslim, I'm deeply saddened by this incident and would conclude by saying that that these bigots do not represent Muslim teachings of Allah.
True Muslims will not condone insulting other religions or practising double standards. Islam is a religion that is just to everyone, Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
