I see there is still chatter about Sept 11. Do some Malaysians really believe the Sept 11 attacks were somehow staged?

Of course, I'm only an educated American, and can't possibly know as much about this as the Malaysian conspiracy nuts who have never been to the US (I especially enjoy the ones who tell us without offering any evidence: ‘There is overwhelming evidence! Look it up, idiot!’) In any case, I have some questions:

1. Ground Zero, the empty space where the towers once stood, exists. I've been there. So were the private owners ordered to tear down the towers down in order to support the fake video of the planes crashing into it? ‘Eminent domain’ (the right of local governments to purchase private property against the owners' will), indeed.

2. What about the multiple private and police videos of the attack? They were all staged? Nobody in New York had a mobile phone cam or camcorder that was legitimate?

3. Let me get this straight--next the US government flew a commercial flight into the Pentagon, where Donald Rumsfeld and senior officers were working at the time? Rumsfeld was shown helping carry the wounded. Or was this all staged as well, with a Rumsfeld lookalike?

4. Again, just like in New York, not a single Pentagon employee has come forward with the truth – this in a society where people (unlike in Malaysia) cannot be jailed for criticising the government or telling the truth?

5. So it is much more likely that the US government would fake all this to make the Islamic world look bad than the possibility that some Muslims carry out terrorist attacks?

6. Two reporters from the ‘Washington Post’ brought down corrupt President Nixon in 1974. Today, there is not one single investigative reporter in the US who could have found one single ‘fake’ victim?

7. Who made these multiple, incredibly realistic fake videos? Spielberg? James Cameron? Aliens from space?
