Kamal, you got your strategies wrong
I refer to the Malaysiakini report 'Ask about what I can do, not what BN does' .
What is the point of meeting all the 60,000 people when you cannot tell them what you can do for them? You are missing the woods for the trees.
Go out there and tell the people your strategies, your plans and how you are going to get them implemented and the 60,000 will come to you.
The way you answered the questions during your media interview shows very glaringly that you are a political novice without substance. You are prepared to let your party people trample over you.
If you don't have the courage to tell your party people off if you don't agree with their campaign strategies, how can the electorate expect you to stand up for them in Parliament to fight for their rights?
Kamal, please bear in mind, you cannot do anything without BN support. So don't talk so loud. A good example will be your boss, S Samy Vellu.
He can't even insist on his choice of candidate for this by-election due to BN/Umno's objections. So what makes you think you can get things done your way without BN/Umno support?
With all your inherent faults and weaknesses, it will be a terrible mistake for the people of Hulu Selangor to vote you as their MP.
