The vision of ‘1Malaysia’ is very much needed to ensure the prosperity and happiness for all people in Malaysia for generations to come. This will also make Malaysia an exemplary citizen of the world.

To realize the goals of ‘1Malaysia’, the government has to play the role of enabler, while the real realization is done by the people themselves.

Half our life is spent in the work area. This ‘time’ at work, has to be made productive to realize ‘1Malaysia’. Real action is achieved when the thing that makes the world go around is involved; ie, money, RM.

I want to propose that the government introduce an exhaustive tax structure that enables the achievement of ‘1Malaysia’ goals. Basically, have a tax incentive, which is significant, which will make the owners of the private sector to be motivated to implement the ‘1Malaysia’ goals.

My suggestion is to have people belonging from at least three races and at least three religions be part of the company at all levels of the company. The directors, the senior managers, the middle managers, the supervisors, the staff, the workers etc.

All levels need to have people of three races, it does not matter which three races; and of three religions, it does not matter which three religions.

A scoring method should be created to give points to the company. The higher the score, the more significant the tax incentive. Probably have only two levels of incentive to enable significant change.

This is my suggestion. Of course, if the powers that be are conducive to this suggestion, it can be further finetuned to get concrete results.
