WITH Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin throwing in his support for gutter politics, I say welcome to lawlessness Malaysia. It is so evident today that there is no "law" in Malaysia, save for Umno's "law".

It is truly a sad day for Malaysia when our political leaders, more so those from the ruling elite, resort to lies and fabrication to malign the children of political rivals who they have failed to destabilise.

And, what are the BN government, the police and all other enforcement authorities doing about it? Nothing!

Clear-minded, law-abiding and principled Malaysians are wondering when will the madness hit rock bottom.

Clearly, the BN is unable to shake Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. So the Umno cronies, now led by Muhyiddin, are now targeting his son with the hope of breaking his confidence and composure.

They hope this will shake the DAP secretary-general and his party.

When such dirty tactics started to backfire with public outrage, Umno tried to backpedal and deny that it was behind the attacks on Guan Eng's son.

Among the Umno warlords and bloggers who made wild and false allegations of molest against Guan Eng's 16-year-old schoolboy was no other than Umno youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin. Tell me that is not Umno!

And now, suddenly, Muhyiddin is taking the lead while his boss, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, can only offer meek advice: "Leave family out of gutter politics", that too conditional, that it must apply to both BN and Pakatan Rakyat.

Mr Prime Minister, please have your deputy and your head too checked by a brain specialist. The issue is not about the use of gutter politics. It is about fabrication and truth.

And did you notice who did not want to be outdone? Comes the No1 Umno bootlicker, the immoral MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek, who wants us to believe that gutter politics is the norm. It is just utterly disgusting, devoid of basic human principles and morality.

They say birds of the same feather will flock together. How very true!

This episode clearly shows Umno and MCA have no respect for democracy and will not respect the choice of the people. Guan Eng was duly elected by the people and is the Chief Minister of Penang.

However, see how the BN and the law are treating him and his family. No justice or fairness. The 2008 general election losers, in this case the BN, just cannot accept defeat gentlemanly and thus disrespects the chair of the chief minister.

In their quest to remain in power at all costs, I really wonder whether these BN politicians realise that their political antics and disrespect for the law are eroding public confidence, thus driving away investors.

If they continue with such rubbish, all Malaysians will suffer because the country's economy will be in ruins.

And the Umno-controlled police force gave a permit for Muslim-groups to gather in Shah Alam to protest against proselytising. The fact is that there had not been a single case of proselytising since Merdeka in 1957, as confirmed by Home Ministry records.

So, what and where is the threat and urgency to protest? Clearly, it is political, not about defending religion.

Thank God for saving the majority of sane Malaysians who did not react emotionally, and neither did they turn up in full force to support the bashing of non-Muslims at the Umno-backed Himpun anti-apostasy.

Only a mere 5,000 people turned up for the rally dubbed "A Gathering of One Million Muslims".

The only Umno leader who showed up is a spent-force former Perlis Menrri Besar Shahidan Kassim and the Umno sympathiser, Selangor PAS eco Hassan Ali.

Of course there were others like the racist Pasir Mas MP and Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali but he was not his usual flamboyant self, probably disappointed to see such a lukewarm response from Malaysians, particularly Malays.

The crowd turnout pales with the crowd that showed up at Bersih 2.0.

And, while we are on Bersih 2.0, Najib had the cheek to compare Himpun with Bersih 2.0, praising Himpun for observing peaceful assembly.

Now, Himpun was clearly staged not to defend Islam, but to whip up hatred against non-Muslims, with the hope that the majority of Muslims will unite behind BN-Umno.

The fiery, provocative and emotional speeches, devoid of concrete facts to back their allegations of proselytising, were aimed at condemning others. It was all allowed by the police to disunite multi-racial Malaysia for the sake of political power.

The police permit was given to the rally organisers to drum up emotions and sensitive issues against non-Muslims, especially against Christians.

Any fool will tell you that the world is watching such developments and foreign investors' confidence is slowly, but surely, eroding.

Our neighbours, therefore, will surely stand to gain economically at the expense of the people betrayed by the ruling elite.

In these times of madness, may God bless all Malaysians and help the evil repent for the country and our future, before it is too late.
