Now that MCA's Team B is back to power for the next four years, it should do the necessary to right the wrong in Nanyang Siang Pau and China Press . Otherwise, its credibility in the Chinese community will be gone.
First, it should remove unethical and biased top editors like the editor-in-chief of Nanyang Siang Pau and China Press , Ang Soon Kean who deviated from being a journalist to anti-Team B propagandist.
Second, all journalists in Nanyang Siang Pau and China Press who were sacked, demoted or transferred as a result of their resistance to Team A's political interference should be restored to their original positions.
Third, Nanyang Siang Pau and China Press must be sold as soon as possible to a third party other than Sin Chew 's owner, Tiong Hiew King, to avoid monopoly of the Chinese media and to lessen the financial burden on MCA.
Only by doing these as soon as possible would the prestige and credibility of MCA Team B be enhanced.
