The mass media is actively vindicating the crimes committed by the Anglo-US invasion forces by televising the 'celebrations' of the Kurds with a handful of demonstrators in central Baghdad, which has a population of five million. Suddenly the innocent civilian victims of this war have already been forgotten.

So where are the WMD (weapons of mass destruction)? The o­nly WMD experienced so far was the 'shock and awe' destruction of Baghdad, along with the indiscriminate carnage.

Now we are told that WMD 'will' be found. I do believe they will be 'found' not because they exist but because Bush/Blair are so adamant o­n this issue!

It does not matter if it is a few buckets of chemicals or bombs, as long as the spins can be generated to create the 'fog of evidence'. Alternatively, under the pretext of searching for WMD, the ever-compliant mass media would gradually forget the issue as it fades into distant memory.

Now the plot can really unfold. 'Liberated' Iraq will be a direct US colony under J Garner along with a bevy of US multinationals, whilst a US/Israeli friendly regime is being installed. Can the Arabs/Muslims really believe that the US, as the chief protector of Israel, would ever permit them genuine independence?

Rather 'liberated' Iraq will become another US military base (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman) in the region, waiting to be to use as a launch-pad for the destruction of Syria and/or Iran. Israel is already urging for a US attack o­n Syria by claiming that Iraq's WMD has been relocated to that country.

The game will continue while the rest of the Arab/Islamic world looks o­n as spectators.
