In response to Arbibi Ashoy's letter, ' Biblical accounts don't carry much water in modern world ', the letter writer forgot to provide any proof of any such state called Palestine thorough the ages. Certainly, there were Arabs in the area since the Crusades but he also neglected to mention that until the 1950s, these Palestinians called themselves southern Syrians.

Arbibi alleges that Israel stole Palestinian land, where the Peel Commission's report and Lewis French would disagree. "Using Rothschild's money, these Jews purchased land from absentee Turkish landlords. To the Arab tenant farmers, the transfer of land from Turkish to Jewish ownership was of little consequence since the Jews rehired them as agricultural workers." - Moshe Dayan.

John Hope Simpson in 1930 remarked, "They [Jews] paid high prices for the land, and in addition they paid to certain of the occupants of those lands a considerable amount of money which they were not legally bound to pay." In that sense, shouldn't New York revert back to Indian ownership because it was sold at the price of a few bottles of alcohol?

Arbibi asserts that Jews has no proof of an ancient Israel other than Biblical records, but he ignores Egyptian hieroglyphics, Greek and Roman historians like Lyceum and Clearchus, both students of Aristotle, and various archaeological finds like Masada.

Arbibi mentions the 1947 UN partition plan, however forgetting to mention Arab outright and immediate rejection of the plan, nor was able to include the fact that the partition was not binding. Neither was binding the multitude of UN General Assembly resolutions mentioned. And speaking the General Assembly, did not Arbibi know that more or less two thirds of all resolutions were directed to Israel, who is also the only state in the UN that is barred from the UN Security Council and other Swiss-based UN institutions.

"It [is] very clear that the UN General Assembly is an unreliable and biased body with no international integrity. The message sent today by the UN Third Committee to Israeli children is that your lives are worth less than Palestinian children," said Dan Gillerman, Israel's ambassador to the UN.

Certainly, this conflict is not as important as the genocides in Rwanda, Zimbabwe's famine created by Robert Mugabe, Chinese occupation and cultural genocide of Tibet, the North Korean holocaust, all of which gotten little to none UN resolutions.
