I refer to the letter No reason to leave Islam . It seems to me that Muhammad Faisal has already given his reason as to why he chose to leave Islam - he decided 'to convert to another religion as a matter of personal conviction.'

But the point is: why should he even need to give a reason?

Never generalise and view Muslims as a homogeneous, monolithic category. There are Muslims who do convert to other religions or simply just stop practicing Islam (or maybe this is not considered 'leaving' their religion?).

These Muslims, or people from a Muslim background, are becoming more visible in Europe.

Throughout history peoples have been migrating across the globe, both in the interests of preserving their religious identity or changing it.
