I, N Ganesan, hereby retract all statements made at the press conference on Dec 3, 2013 with regard to the police report made on Dec 3, 2012 on the incident that happened at the meeting of the 50 NGOs at the Caring Society along Jalan Utama on Nov 30, 2013.

For all intent and purpose the press conference was held only to inform of the police report made by me, calling for police investigation of the incident that happened. It was never intended for the purpose of discrediting or defaming any individual or persons, in particular Mr S Ragindran of Weld Quay @ Weld Quay Tambi.

I now retract all statements made at the press conference on Dec 3, 2013 leading to the publication of an article by Malaysiakini on Dec 4, 2013 titled ‘Thugs linked to politicians disrupted NGO meeting’ and so that the matter is firmly and finally put to rest.
