LETTER | I refer to the Malaysiakini articles Najib: Sniper fired shots at my Pekan office in 2017 and Wong Tack, Fuziah should resign if they’ve dignity - Najib where Najib who was speaking at a discourse is reported to have said that Wong Tack (the MP for Bentong), and Fuziah Salleh (the MP for Kuantan) who were harsh critics of Lynas and its operations should now resign if they have any dignity as a result of Pakatan Harapan's change of policy with regards to Lynas and its operations.

Najib is also reported to have said during the discourse or forum that Harapan as a whole had no dignity as well. I wish to state that it is rather amusing and mind-boggling to note that there are members of the public who still waste time attending such public discourses or fora to listen to an alleged "kleptocrat".

It is also perplexing to note that for someone who had spent RM606 million in three years and that for someone who owes Inland Revenue Board (IRB) RM1.5 billion in taxes, Najib has the gumption to talk about dignity publicly in forums.

Najib should stop all this sandiwara and stop fooling the Malaysian public with dramas of snipers shooting at his constituency office in Pekan in early 2017 as all this sandiwara is nothing more than mere cheap publicity stunts intended to attract sympathy and to distract public attention glued to his court trials where the prosecution has shown evidence in recent days to show that Najib had spent a whopping RM606 million between 2013 and 2015 when a majority of Malaysians were still struggling to make ends meet.

If Najib Abdul Razak "the Six Hundred Million Dollar man" of Malaysia has any dignity left in him, I suggest that he should first clear his name and prove his innocence in a court of law before having any further such public discourse on "dignity".
