Middle-class needs to speak up
Considering the political situation in our country right now, I feel the time is ripe for the urban and suburban upper middle-class to speak out, and speak out loud.
Barisan Nasional has been hopeless when it comes to listening to the common man, DAP has remained stagnant whereas it's hard to comment on Keadilan at the moment, with Saudara Anwar Ibrahim being overseas the last few months. Only PAS is getting any more popular.
So I say it's time for the urban and suburban middle-class to form a political party to stop the slide this beloved country of ours is undergoing. This party should be for the youthful (targetting those in their 30s and 40s), educated (in the widest sense of the word), and passionate about the future of Malaysia.
Most importantly, this party must have leaders of integrity. Sounds silly to have to mention such a trait, but it is hardly seen anymore among our so-called leaders, is it?
Of course, this new party can work together with the current opposition parties whenever necessary.
Now, all we need is a leader. Any takers?
