The government should seriously consider raising the age limit for motorcycle licences. The problem on our roads are the high number of daredevils who swerve in and out of traffic, some without helmets or helmets that are not strapped.

The reason for this is because of simple youthful foolishness. These young boys think that they are invincible and immortal. Their behaviour, however causes grief to their own family members, other motorists and the police.

As such I propose that the government raise the age bar for motorcyclists so that at least there is a certain level of maturity.

A motorcycle licence can be a licence to kill, maim and injure. It comes with a responsibility which hopefully can be understood by those of a certain age.
