I refer to K Temoc's take on Manjit Bhatia's article on the reluctance of the non-Malays to commit themselves to politics.

Temoc only concentrated on Anwar Ibrahim, which was just a small part of Manjit's article. He used Anwar's case only as an example of the inability of the non-Malays to convert their talk into action.

Temoc does not want to say whether if it was any other person, would the Chinese and the Indians take to the streets as the Malays had done for Anwar.

My reply to that would be 'no'.

Bhatia's stand on this issue is still valid and very true.
