I don't know if it's a known thing, but my humble opinion is that the wrong person is occupying the position of the health minister. While minister Chua Jui Meng has many good points, but the main issue against him is that he knows very little about the medical scene in Malaysia or even in Asia.

If not for his aides, he would have made more snafues before the recent one on Dr Thomas Hoogland's professional credentials. Sadly, this time his aides had failed him, much to the embarrassment of the government ([#1] The health minister and Dr Hoogland [/#], April 19).

The good health minister should first fire the aides who made the mistake and then the good prime minister should fire the health minister for making the government look uninformed. Then the people should fire the prime minister for putting this person into the position of health minister in the first place.
