Calling IMF... come in, IMF?

The deteriorating state of our economy now has proven that Dr Mahathir Mohamad's economic policy is not viable. Perhaps it is for this reason that Finance Minister Daim Zainuddin has to take leave for two months to distance himself from the image of the government ([#1] Daim takes leave, PM denies resignation rumours [/#], April 19).
Perhaps, it is time to call in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to help us to sort out the mess. Left-wing economists like Martin Khor and Prof KS Jomo should shut up because their ideological economics has proven to be an utter failure.
