KLIA started in June 1998, almost three years ago. Is Ling living on Fantasy Island?

It was also reported that British Airways, All Nippon Airlines, Quantas and Lufthansa have all "ceased services" to our US$2.36 billion airport.

Does this mean they no longer offer flights to KLIA?

Can anyone explain why this happened? If there are some fundamental problems on KLIA's competitiveness compared with other regional hubs, it would be more sensible to address those issues rather than give away our facilities for nothing and pretend that it is 'business as usual'.

That is a face-saving exercise likely to be tried by a junior executive and not the transport minister, surely.
