A pro-PAS blog which accused a former party election candidate of 'conspiring' to topple Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim claims to have credible witnesses to prove this.

Malaysia Waves webmaster Abdul Rahman Abdul Talib, who is known for revealing the problems in PAS, said the witnesses who fed him the details have direct access to the minutes of Selangor PAS meetings.

Popularly known by his pseudonym ' tulang besi ', the blogger also vowed to furnish more details on the former candidate Suwardi Yaacob's role in the alleged conspiracy when the court hears the menteri besar's suit against the chairperson of corruption watchdog Gerak, Mohd Nazree Mohd Yunus.

"Let's wait for the case. This issue is related (to the allegation)," he said.

On March 24, Abdul Khalid sued Mohd Nazree over the latter's accusation that the MB had used public funds for the maintenance works on his personal car.

The MB filed a separate suit against Mohd Nazree over another allegation that the PKR leader had used state funds to purchase 46 cows worth RM110,400 last year to be distributed to his Bandar Tun Razak constituents.

Meanwhile, Suwardi, who is a lawyer, has since sued Abdul Rahman over his allegation.

Suwardi, who is said to be close to PAS' Selangor exco Dr Hasan Ali, was accused of collecting information which prompted the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate the MB.

Hasan is one of the PAS leaders said to support the idea of forming a unity government with Umno and has been the central figure in several controversies.

'I have concrete evidence'

Last week, the blogger refused to remove the posting which accused Suwardi as a conspirator despite being slapped with a legal letter.

In his reply, Abdul Rahman said: "Referring to your legal letter, I wish to inform you that I will not remove the article because I have concrete evidence pertaining to the allegation."

Suwardi and his lawyer could not be reached for comment.

In August, Abdul Rahman, who claims to have served as a special aide to Hasan, found himself in the receiving end of a legal notice from Suwardi over an article which accused Hasan of attempting to oust several PAS assemblypersons and parliamentarians in Selangor who are pro-Pakatan Rakyat.

The blogger claimed that the article was mailed to him.

Abdul Rahman, who also claimed that he never received the legal notice, however retracted the article, saying it was the writer's request and that the issue was 'too hot'.
