The condition of Kerdau assemblyperson Zaharuddin Abu Kassim, who was admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) yesterday, is stable but critical, said Pahang Menteri Besar Adnan Yaakob.

NONE He said Zaharuddin ( left ), 63, was transferred to the IJN following renal and heart complications after undergoing an intestinal ulcer surgery at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital (Hoshas) in Temerloh.

"I was told by a doctor when I visited him at Hoshas last Saturday that his condition then was stable but very critical, but yesterday his condition was stable but critical," Adnan told reporters after launching the Pahang Education Excellence 2010 programme in Kuantan today.

Zaharuddin was admitted to Hoshas on Monday before he was transferred to the IJN yesterday afternoon.
