Aminulrasyid Amzah's family will not insist on an apology from the police and will let the court decide if the police were guilty in the shooting incident which claimed the life of the 15-year-old

schoolboy.

NONE "I will not insist on an apology from the police. I will wait for the court's decision. Inspector-general of police Musa Hassan has the right to say whatever he wants. I have my rights too," said Aminulrasyid's mother Norsiah Mohamad, 61, at her home in Shah Alam today.

She was commenting on Musa's statement yesterday that the police would not apologise for the shooting as it could have legal implications as the case is now in court.

Norsiah, who was disappointed with the latest statement from the police, said she would not comment further on the case.

Aminulrasyid was hit by police fire after a high-speed car chase which ended in Jalan 11/2G, about 100 metres from the boy's house in Section 11 here.

His friend who managed to escape is the key witness in the much publicised incident.

A police corporal was charged in the Sessions Court here on Monday in connection with the fatal shooting.
