The second wife of the late SM Nasimuddin and her five children are suing the estate for RM350 million. They are also seeking the estate and the children from the first wife to hand over eight properties including land and residences in Malaysia and in London.

Nasimuddin S.M Amin Nasimuddin ( left ), who passed away on May 1, 2008, owned the Naza Group, a local automobile giant. His estate is estimated to be worth RM3 billion.

Besides Rokiah Abdullah, 53, the other plaintiffs in the suit are her children Mohd Azli (26), Sharifah Roslina (27),  Sharifah Rosnani (24), Sheikh Mohamad Azrul (22) and Sharifah Sofia (15).

The commercial suit was filed at the Kuala Lumpur High Court here today through the law firm of Jamil Mohamed Shafie and Associates.

They named 15 defendants including the SM Nasimuddin estate, the first wife Zaleha Ismail, and her children, Faisal, (31), Nur Diana, (28), Sheikh Mohd Nasarudin, (26), Sheikh Mohd Faliq, (25), and Nur Nadia, (24).

Others named as defendants included Naza Kia, Naza Automotif Manufacturing, Nasim, Naza Motor Trading, Naza TTDI, NZ Wheels, Ekspedisi Nikmat Sdn Bhd and CIMB Trustee Berhad.

Declare all assets

In the statement of claim, the family of the second wife also sought all defendants to declare their assets of the movable and immovable property as off May 1, 2008 till today.

They are also seeking for costs and interests on the RM350 million which they are seeking.

The plaintiffs claimed that before Nasimuddin passed away, he had informed them that he had assets worth RM3 billion which included shares, properties, accounts in Singapore, London, and residences in London, South Africa and Los Angeles.

They also claimed that the late businessman had also bank accounts here and also held trust funds and insurance policies.

The family of the second wife also alleged that CIMB Trustee Bhd, is the trustee holder of a large property which he owned.

They alleged that the first wife and her children had applied through the court to have control of the estate without considering of their interests.
